A nonprofit on the brink of a breakout moment with a dead website
Art Healing Hearts was about to appear on KTNV TV in Las Vegas. Lu Monteleone had built the nonprofit herself: art therapy for veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors.
Four days before the broadcast, the site was hacked. Gone. Defaced.
Lu needed a team that could move fast without cutting corners.
What we did
Emergency rebuild. Four days. No room for error.
Zack and Tyler Johnson dropped everything. New hosting. Clean WordPress installation. A one-page site that told Art Healing Hearts' story clearly.
Logo refresh. Stripe donation integration. Video embed so the TV audience could see the work in action.
Every hour counted. The site had to be live, tested, and solid before the cameras rolled.
It launched the morning of the broadcast.
The result
50 donations on day one
The day of the KTNV appearance, Art Healing Hearts received 50 donations through the new site. The donation flow worked. The story landed. The audience responded.
The logo and visual identity B&F created are still used by the organization today.
Art Healing Hearts is no longer a client. The impact of that week still holds. When everything is on the line, you need a team that shows up.
